Surface Transforms plc has developed a proprietary process to convert carbon-carbon materials into Carbon Fibre Reinforced Ceramic (CFRC) also know as Carbon-Silicon Carbide (CSiC). The result is a material that can withstand temperatures of over 2,000°C, is 70% lighter than cast iron and delivers outstanding quality and performance in a wide range of applications, from friction applications within the automotive and aerospace industries to armour defence against high-velocity projectiles.
